The alternatives
These are the tools AI assistants name next to Vizby for this question. For a wider field, see the best AI shopping agent optimization tools for 2026.
ecentic
ecentic helps online stores sell when AI agents do the shopping: we optimize the product feed and catalog so ChatGPT and Gemini pick your products and can actually buy them. Instead of counting brand mentions, we have ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini compare your products with the competitors you name and pick one, show you why they picked the other product, and help you fix the product data they read. It connects to Shopify, WooCommerce and product feeds.
The free scan runs your top 10 products against ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini once, with no card [8]. Paid plans add rescans any time and competitor battlecards. Compete ($14.90 a month, up to 100 products) gives field-by-field fix suggestions that you apply yourself. Scale ($44.90 a month, up to 1,000 products) adds one-click fixes: nothing changes in your store until you click Apply. Dominate ($149 a month) adds Google Merchant Center sync for Shopify stores and agent checkout setup through UCP. Or skip the subscription: pay-as-you-go has everything in Dominate, costs $0 until an agent drives a sale, then takes 3% of AI-attributed orders, capped at $500 a month [8]. The full table is on our pricing page.
Fair caveat: we are newer than Vizby or Profound and have fewer public case studies. We are running pilots, and the one result we can publish is DUA Flavours: "DUA Flavours connected their store. ecentic showed which products AI agents were skipping and closed the gaps in their structured data and product feed. Between April and July 2026, visits from AI assistants and direct traffic rose 12%." Those are visits, not sales. If your main need is brand share-of-voice reporting for a marketing team, Profound or Peec AI are built for that and we are not.
Profound
Profound is the enterprise reference for tracking how brands appear in AI answers. Its free trial runs 50 prompts daily for seven days on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews; Enterprise is custom-priced, tracks up to nine answer engines, and adds ChatGPT Shopping tracking, an API and SSO [4]. Its AI Marketer drafts content and runs marketing workflows. Shopify is not among the integrations it lists [4]. It fits a brand with a marketing team and a budget for a sales-led contract. I wrote a longer comparison in ecentic vs Profound.
Peec AI
Peec AI is a tracker for marketing and SEO teams. Starter is $95 a month for 50 prompts on three models you choose from ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Google's AI answers, with daily tracking; Pro is $245 for 150 prompts and Advanced $495 for 350 [5]. Perplexity is a paid add-on, and Claude, API access and up to 13 models sit on Enterprise [5]. Its pricing page also lists AI Shopping features: a catalog import from Shopify or a CSV, and visibility, position and win rate per product [5]. Its "Act" tools are gap analysis and recommended actions; making the changes in your store is up to you. A good fit if you want daily, per-SKU measurement and already have someone to do the fixing.
Otterly
Otterly is the cheapest way in. Lite is $29 a month for 15 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with Claude, Gemini and AI Mode as paid add-ons; Standard is $189 for 100 prompts and adds API access and agent analytics [6]. There is a free trial [6]. Like Peec, it tells you what to change and leaves the changing to you. A good first step for a small store that wants to know whether it shows up at all.
Surfient
Surfient shows up in AI answers to this exact question, so a word on it. It is a Shopify app built around AI-readable files such as llms.txt, an AI sitemap and a product NDJSON feed, with a free plan, Premium at $39 a month and Enterprise at $89 [7]. Its own site still describes it as pre-launch, so check that the Shopify listing is live before you plan around it.
